Product information: .Our 25mm (1") wide knitted elastic is normally available from stock in black or white and is supplied in units of 100m. See section below for information on colours. Knitted elastic is normally used where a lighter weight solution is required. Please see above for bulk order discounts. This item can be supplied to order in cut lengths(cut on precision, CNC equipment).
Colours: It is possible to have a knitted elastic produced in some "regular" colours; Red, Royal Blue, Navy Blue Emerald green etc. The minimum order for colours is 5000m per colour per width. This is not a quick process. If you do not have a minimum of 6-7 weeks from initial enquiry with us to your receipt of the goods it will not be feasible for us to discuss your requirement for it. Lead-time from receipt of payment/sign-off of shade is approximately 28-35 days. There is NO option to reduce this lead-time. If you can live with that then please feel free to contact us to explore the matter further.
Knitted elastic is generally used with lighter weight fabrics than woven elastic. DO NOT confuse the weight with the quality, they just have different characteristics. There are high and low qualities in both products.
We can also supply this continuously "lap-folded" in cartons. Please contact us with details of your requirements) This item can be supplied in pre-cut lengths or made-up endless rings(sewn). Minimums will start at approximately 1000pcs, size/length dependent. If you require cut lengths or rings please contact us with details and we would be delighted to quote.

Q. How do I identify I have/need a knitted elastic?
A: The yarn will be in a distinctive "U" shaped "wave pattern". Hold the item up to the light and extend it. You can generally see through a knitted elastic when it is stretched. It is very much lighter in weight than woven elastic.
